NOTE – MUST have already attended Expectancy Scanning Studios in this current pregnancy for a completed early pregnancy / dating scan.
20 minute appointment. 2D Transabdominal Scan (*Transvaginal scan may be offered/required). To reassure the pregnancy is progressing well since last scan, to visualise a heartbeat, measure and date the pregnancy and look at early developmental changes.

Amanda & the Team are fantastic! So friendly, helpful, informative and just an all round wonderful personalised experience, so much so that after our first early pregnancy scan at 8 weeks, we ended up going back….14 more times! We had almost everything available including numerous reassurance scans, growth and gender scan, the NIPT testing, anomaly scan and 3D/4D growth scans. In addition to attending some of the classes available on site, antenatal classes and the Baby First Aid course.
The majority of our scans were with Amanda, who is an absolutely wonderful person, such positive energy and creates such a fantastic environment to be scanned in. Amanda was communicative and informative throughout the scan, explaining to us what she was reviewing and showing us lots of details of our little one. Amanda captured some beautiful scan photos of my little one, and created such lovely memories in video clips.
Towards the end of our pregnancy we got to meet Ashley for our scans, again so friendly, informative and lovely person to be around! We headed in for one final scan at 37 weeks…and unfortunately there were some concerns…Ashleigh handled this so professionally, she delivered the news with care, empathy, and with decisive action; contacting and referring us to our hospital. As a result of Ashleigh’s findings and quick-actions on referral, our baby boy was safely delivered early via C-section 48 hours later!
The customer service and services of Expectancy Scanning are excellent, the experience was beyond our expectations and we would absolutely recommend Amanda & the team as the gold standard in scanning services.

Please note, a non-refundable deposit of £25.00 will be required on all bookings. For longer/detailed appointments a non-refunable deposit of £45 is required.
As your appointment is a medical examination which cannot be rushed, late arrivals to appointments of more than 5 minutes will have their deposit forfeited and will be asked to re-book.
Guest Policy
For Pregnancy Scans, Fertility scans and any Blood Tests you may attend with a maximum of 5 guests (including children if desired however please be aware that a transvaginal scan may be offered at these appointments)
For scans and blood test appointments, children must be accompanied by another adult
Please contact us to book your scan if multiple pregnancy as we shall allow extra scan time
(£25 Supplement for multiple pregnancy scans >14 weeks)
If you require a translator, please let us know in advance of your booking.
All of our pregnancy scans we do require you to attend with a full bladder. If a transvaginal scan is required we will ask you to empty your bladder.
Please bring maternity records / recent NHS scan reports if you have them.
We have very good links with all local regional hospitals – please note we will refer into the NHS for care /opinion if there is a medical reason to and we have your consent (See our T&C’s Privacy Policy regarding consent and information sharing).
